Our festival attracts many visitors annually, consistently engaging a multitude of artists, artisans, and businesses from within and around Randolph County.
Vendors will showcase their handcrafted goods, delicious food, local businesses, and non-profit information. The Randolph Arts Guild has continued to build upon this celebration and is pleased to announce that our 48th Annual Fall Festival will encompass over 150 vendors spanning the historic streets of Downtown Asheboro. The inaugural Fall Festival was held in 1972, included just over 30 vendors, and was located solely on Sunset Avenue in Downtown Asheboro.
We will remain in compliance with the recommendations of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for guidance in all safety measures. Talented musical guests, crave worthy foods and much, MORE! Plans are on course for a safe and successful event. The Festival will continue to be a fun filled event with creative and unique craft vendors, The Guild and Historic Downtown Asheboro will welcome vendors, artists, musicians, artisans, and festival goers on Saturday, October 7th from 9am – 6pm. The exhibit is seeking visual art reflecting on, in response to, and/or depictions of AMERICA IN THE 1950s. The visual art exhibition will be the first thing audiences experience when they enter the building. RhinoLeap Productions will convert the George Washington Carver Center into a “night club” circa 1959. The musical Lady Day showcases Billie Holiday in her final performance sharing stories about her loves and losses through the songs that her famous. The exhibition will be intertwined with a love production of Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, a solo musical event produced by and RhinoLeap Productions. Randolph Arts Guild is seeking visual art submissions by artists of color to be part of an exhibition at the George Washington Carver Center in Asheboro, NC.
